Felt Tubes
Felt tubes are industrial components manufactured entirely from natural wool fibres. Their unique structure, flexibility and absorbent properties make them suitable for a wide range of applications in industrial machinery and production lines.
One of the main applications of wool felt tubes is in processes requiring continuous and uniform application of liquids onto material surfaces. The absorbent structure of wool felt allows oils and other suitable processing fluids to gradually pass through the material, enabling their controlled distribution by rotating rollers.
Felt tubes are also used in polishing, cleaning, material handling and surface protection processes.

PROFILC supplies felt tubes manufactured according to individual customer specifications. We offer a variety of inner diameters, outer diameters and lengths, tailored to machine design and specific manufacturing processes.
Our standard felt tubes have a density of 0.44 g/cm³.
As each order is manufactured to individual specifications, the typical production lead time is approximately 4–6 weeks.
